Passion = satisfaction

I love cooking, especially when it challenges my skills, knowledge and creativity. It requires a lot of preparation and some budget sheet to consider to. But I've never been that fussy about the price, after all it's food for your stomach. You are what You eat.

Food presentation is another thing that i'm most passionate about. Though I have to exclude the 'after-eating' routine which is cleaning up! That's the last thing I'll put in mind, or else my plan will be disturbed by some discomfort feeling of Laziness! Not to mention, drying the plates and arranging it in the basket/cabinet. That's when I need assistant. Usually when I was at home, the ladies(my mum and aunties) would take this task without complain.

Lets talk about the food: be it eastern or western, I like both and preparing them shows one's ability to distinguish the main ingredient in the recipe. The best part of the whole thing is the presentation and the judgment time. While people are enjoying your food, the amount of satisfaction can only be told in one word : INFINITY of HAPPY-ness.

Occasionally, I'd love to go out and have a great dinner with friends. It's a time when you can share laughter or problems. The best is DRAMA! as your friends can go draMAtic over a 'slow' service. I think sometimes we have to stop complaining and just be a bit patient. After all, it's about food. Everyone in the room is the customer. Once bitten twice shy...maybe it's a good idea NOT to go to the same place again if the service sucks. DOn'T come again. Then, maybe they will feel the impact of losing the most valuable customer. It's their lose, not yours! DIVA rampage!

I absolutely agree with the MALAY saying: Jangan bergaduh depan rezeki(makanan) in Iban culture, it's called Mali! In bidayuh, It's Porih! In your own understanding: Don;t do it!

Anyway, my passion of writing food has turned into messages of advice. Take it or leave it. It's not for the faint-hearted!
